Eco-Bact is a product characterized by a broad spectrum of action against bacteria (aerobic and anaerobic), yeasts and molds which sometimes pollute fuels, contributing to a continuous production of sludge by microbial metabolism.
It is soluble in both water and fuel and concentrates in the aqueous phase where contamination prevails and thus develops prolonged protection.
After a few days from the start of the treatment, the sludge decreases until it disappears completely, leaving the filters finally clean. PIt can be used both to exterminate ongoing contamination and to prevent it.
Dose 0,3 per thousand (1 lt. for 3000 lt.) with respect to the capacity of the tank to be treated and regardless of the quantity of diesel contained, which must be at least equal to 20% of the full tank; the dose must be poured into the tank / cistern.
With this treatment the bacterial colonies are destroyed and the formation of mucilaginous biomass is stopped.
The bactericidal action is limited to decontamination and consequently to the interruption of the formation of residues; however, for complete cleaning, Fastol must be used after at least 24/48 hours and according to one's own methods of use; with this additional treatment the water will be eliminated while the bituminous sludge will be rendered fluid and in this way they will be reintegrated into the diesel, so that any stratified adherence on the walls and bulkheads of the tank will be eliminated, which will result clean and clean.
Once the system has been reclaimed, to avoid probable recontamination, it is advisable to continue with the periodic maintenance and prevention treatment.
Dose 0,2 per thousand (1 lt. for 5000 lt.) with respect to the capacity of the tank to be treated and regardless of the quantity of diesel contained. The treatment should be repeated once every 2 months and combined with Fastol in the usual way. It is advisable not to go below this dosage given the extremely variable and unpredictable environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, discontinuity of use), especially in the nautical sector.
The frequency and dosage in the maintenance treatment are indicative: they depend on the level of contamination of the diesel fuel supplied. In the first months of maintenance, it is recommended to check the evolution of the treatment.
