Advanced 3-stage charge regulator, for standard and high performance alternators

The propulsion engine of a boat or vehicle can be used to quickly recharge service batteries, both at sea and on the road. The Alpha Pro III ensures fast and safe charging and protects both the motor and the batteries. Built on the experience of 10 years of operation, the Alpha Pro III features a modern design, more power and even easier to use.

The Alpha Pro III measures the temperature and voltage of the batteries to prevent overcharging by keeping them in perfect condition. It also monitors the engine load to avoid speed variations and violent jerks. The "keep alive" function solves the problems of incorrect reading of the speedometer. Via MasterBus, the Alpha Pro III communicates engine rpm, alternator and charge status, creating an intelligent energy system.

Get the most out of your alternator

The alternator fitted as standard on the engine is not optimal for charging the service batteries. Designed to be inexpensive and perform short charge cycles, it charges at low RPM and heats up easily. By substituting an Alpha Pro III for a standard regulator*, the charging process is optimized, overheating and overcharging are prevented, and battery life is extended.

* (not suitable for Euro 5/6 engines)

Supercharge the plant

For super charging at low rpm, Mastervotl recommends combining an Alpha Pro III regulator with a high-performance alternator from the Alpha series. With 20A of field current, the Alpha Pro is the only regulator on the market capable of controlling alternators up to 400A!
